Publishing companies have been at the epicentre of the digital transformation wave. To embrace this new business landscape, we rebranded Pageant Media as a digital-first intelligence provider and helped them bring their story to life.
Challenge
Our challenge was to reposition and rebrand Pageant Media to attract new talent, re-energise their staff and bring in new partners and investors. Previously a financial investment publisher, they had been building their technical ecosystems and growing their business globally, but their corporate brand and storytelling wasn’t in-step. Their business had changed dramatically and they needed to present themselves in a brand new light.
The repositioning really has engaged our employees, prospective talent and enable us to proudly go out to market.
Process
To lay the foundations, we analysed their business, explored direct and indirect competitors, audited the current provision, services and learn’t about their working culture. We then devised a rapid iterative and inclusive stakeholder engagement process for the c-suite and actioned wider engagement across London and New York, both in-person and remotely. This enabled us to capture their ideas, needs of each department and align different perspectives behind a new vision.
Solution
To illustrate their new bold positioning, we created a strong typographic system, a confident tone of voice, photographed their real working environments and people, and crafted all the content. The transformation story came together in a new responsive site architecture that’s open, easy to read and varied.
Results
Everyone across the company is really happy with the rebrand. We’re proud that Pageant now have the right story and look and feel to launch into new markets. They’re now set for the next stage of transformation and growth.
